Unfortunately, Peter and I didn't get the chance to help out at Casa Jackson last night. Poor Frank has a bad dose of the flu, and I have an extreme runny nose. We thought that maybe having the sneezes around babies with barely any immune system wasn't really beneficial to the cause...However, we still have a few days left to a) get healthy, and b) help out.
Still, we started assisting the school in Momos by picking out some school supplies at the outdoor market. We got pencils, markers, colored pencils, crayons, and notebooks -- all for about 65 Quetzales! (around 8 US dollars) School supplies are even cheaper in Guatemala City, but I don't think we'll be able to make it into town before we go to Momostenango, so we are gonna be bartering in Antigua for our last few days. AND... if YOU want to make a donation, here is the link to the Friendship School site again:

One last thing for today... Being in Guatemala has made this album play repeatedly in my mind...
